The V&A is a seriously awe-inspiring testament to the former glories of the Empire. That said, as in any public space, some of the best sights are of the people therein. As always, I'm drawn to shadows and contrast. (And looking like a creeper taking photos of strangers).

The ever-entertaining purveyors of fine foods have a pop-up shop at Somerset House for the Christmas period and are well worth the visit for an intrepid epicurean explorer. The staff are lovely to boot. As in, they are nice. Don't kick them.
